At Artefaction we are continuing a family tradition in the marble business set up by Johnny Cullen in 1896 on Haddington Road, Dublin.
Since early 1990 Artefaction had worked from its premises on Lime Street off Pearse Street, once the center of the marble business in Dublin, until recently when we moved to a purpose built showrooms and works in Ballymount enabling the company to display its entire range of products.
Following in Johnny’s footsteps Artefaction has continued specialising in selling and restoring original chimneypieces and ecclesiastical marble refurbishments.
Sensing a demand for quality reproduction mantelpieces our own unique range was created and is continually being enlarged, using only the finest quality marbles and natural stones.
In addition to the fireplace collection we carry a large range of natural marbles, limestones and granites suitable for a large variety of applications such as flooring, countertops & cladding.
Artefaction continually strives to offer our customers the very best and
highest quality marble products available along with professional
craftsmanship and advice.
We offer a complete range of stone products to the retail market specialising in restoration of period marble fireplaces to the creation of classic reproduction pieces all hand carved by our own in-house craftsmen. Countertops, vanity unit tops, shower trays, sinks, tabletops.... all manufactured to our client's specifications.
We are constantly sourcing new material to make available to the public; limestones, marbles, granites, slates and sandstones in a large variety of dimensions and finishes.
We believe in offering our clients unbiased opinions on any selected material and we will advise on the suitability of each stone given it's proposed application.
