Fireplaces
At Artefaction we originally only dealt in the sale and restoration of period fireplaces but with the passage of time we recognised that there was a growing interest in reproduction pieces so we created our own unique collection of marble and stone chimneypieces.
Commissions over the years have included the removal, restoration and re-installation of all the fireplaces at both the Treasury Building in Dublin Castle & the Merrion Hotel In Dublin.
Among other notable restorations untaken was the Bossi Chimneypiece in the Taoiseach’ s Office in Leinster House & many of the fireplaces in Aras an Uachtarain.
Each and every fireplace we supply is custom designed to our client's own specifications.
We have our own team of craftsmen who work on our client's chimneypieces and offer we our experience and advice on every aspect of selecting your next chimneypiece from conception to completion.
We have a complete range of fire grates to suit each and every fireplace all of which can be custom made to specification.
